Scalloped Cabbage
1 small head of cabbage, coarsely cut
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoonsn flour
2 teaspoons salt
2 ½ cups milk
Velveeta cheese
Bread crumbs
Cook cabbage in boiling water to wilt (only for a few minutes). Melt butter, stir in flour and salt; slowly add milk and cook over medium heat to white sauce consistency. Remove from heat and stir in cheese to taste. Place cabbage mixture in a greased casserole dish, pour cheese sauce over cabbage. Top with bread crumbs. Bake 30 minutes at 350.
