Big Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies

4 ½ cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
1 ½ cups brown sugar
2 cups vegetable shortening – do not substitute butter, margarine, or oil
2 teaspoons vanilla, 1 teaspoon water
4 eggs
12 ounces chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda; set aside. In mixer bowl, combine both sugars, shortening, vanilla and water; mix well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour mixture ½ cup at a time, mixing well after each addition......you probably will not be able to use the mixture toward the end of adding the flour mixture, dough will be too thick. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake 8 minutes.

Chuck Wagon Casserole

Chuck Wagon Casserole

1 pound hamburger
chopped onion
1 can Bush's baked beans
1 cup BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 can Hungry Jack biscuits
grated cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 375. Brown hamburger and onion, drain. Add beans, BBQ sauce and brown sugar; bring to a boil and then pour into 8x8 casserole dish (or round baking dish). Cut biscuits in half and stand around edge of casserole dish to resemble wagon wheels. Top center with grated cheddar. Bake 20 minutes or until biscuits are done.

Hamburger Crock Pot Chowder

Hamburger Crock Pot Chowder

1 pound ground beef
2 cups chopped potatoes
1 cup chopped carrots
1 cup chopped celery
15 ounce can tomatoes
4 cups water
½ teaspoon oregano

Brown beef and drain. Put cooked beef, vegetables, water and seasoning in crock pot. Cook on low 8 hours.

Beefy Mozzarella Bake

Beefy Mozzarella Bake

1 lb. Ground beef
1 ¼ cup water
½ teaspoon basil
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
pepper
1 can Italian tomato soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
4 cups cooked macaroni shells
1 ¼ cup mozzarella

Preheat oven to 400. Cook beef in large skillet; drain. Combine beef, water, basil, garlic powder, pepper, both soups, cooked macaroni, and one cup of the mozzarella. Pour into a 2 quart baking dish; bake 20 minutes. Sprinkle on remaining ¼ cup mozzarella and bake until cheese melts.

1/3 cup shortening
1/3 cup softened butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
11/2 cup flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon soda
½ cup chopped nuts
6 oz. Chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375. Mix shortening, butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla thoroughly. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread in ungreased 9x13 pan. Bake 20-25 min. at 375.
