1 lb. Hamburger
1 chopped onion
Chili powder to taste
12 oz. Extra wide noodles
1 can tomato soup
1 can black olives, drained and chopped
½ lb. Shredded cheddar cheese
1 can creamed corn

Preheat oven to 350. Brown hamburger with onion and chili powder; drain. Cook noodles until they are about halfway done, drain. Mix hamburger/onion mixture, noodles, tomato soup, olives, cheese, creamed corn, and a dash more chili powder. Bake 20-30 minutes covered; uncover for a final 5 minutes.

Oven Fried Chicken

Oven Fried Chicken

1 stick margarine
1 chicken, cut into pieces
flour
salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 425. Put margarine in 9x13 baking dish and place in oven long enough to melt margarine. Shake chicken pieces in flour and seasonings. Lay chicken, skin side down, in melted butter. Bake for a total of one hour, turning chicken pieces over after 30 minutes.

Snickerdoodle Cookies

Snickerdoodle Cookies

1 cup softened butter
1 ½ cup sugar
2 eggs
2 ¾ cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt

Mix butter, sugar and eggs thoroughly; sift together remaining ingredients and stir into sugar mixture. Chill dough. Preheat oven to 400. Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts. Roll dough into a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Place cookies 2” apart on cookie sheet; bake 8-10 minutes.

6 skinless boneless chicken breast halves

1 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 teaspoons celery salt

2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup bread crumbs

1/3 cup sesame seeds

4 tablespoons melted butter


Cut chicken crosswise into 1/2” strips. Mix sour cream, lemon juice, celery salt, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic. Add chicken pieces and coat well. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 10x15 pan. Mix bread crumbs and sesame seed. Remove chicken strips from sour cream mixture and roll in crumbs, coating evenly. Arrange in a single layer on baking pan. Spoon melted butter evenly over the strips; bake 18-25 minutes.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Brownies

2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
2/3 cup peanut butter
½ cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
12 oz. Chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350; grease a 10x15 pan. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Beat peanut butter and margarine at medium speed. Beat in sugars until well mixed. Beat in eggs and vanilla. With a wooden spoon stir in flour mixture until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and spread in baking pan. Bake 25-30 minutes.
