Creamy Onion Beef Sandwiches
 
3 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon onion soup mix
1/2 to 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
2 hard rolls, split
6 oz. sliced deli roast beef
2 slices processed American cheese
 
Combine sour cream, soup mix and horseradish. Spread mixture over cut side of roll tops; set aside. Layer roast beef and cheese over bottom half of rolls. Place bottom halves on ungreased baking sheet and broil 2-4" from heat for 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Put tops on rolls and serve.

Oreo Cookie Dessert

Oreo Cookie Dessert

1 ½ lb. Oreo cookies
1 stick margarine
½ gallon peppermint ice cream

Process cookies into crumbs; reserve 1 cup of crumbs. Melt margarine and mix with remaining crumbs; press evenly over bottom of 10x15 pan and chill. Soften ice cream and spread over crumb crust. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over top and freeze.

Taffy Apple Dip

8 oz. Softened cream cheese
¾ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
½ cup chopped peanuts
6 apples, cut in wedges

Beat cream cheese, brown sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread evenly on serving plate; top with nuts. Serve with apple wedges.

Blueberry Gelatin Salad

Blueberry Gelatin Salad

2 – 3 oz. Packages grape flavored jello
1 can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 can blueberry pie filling
2 cups boiling water

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in pineapple and blueberry pie filling. Pour into a 9x13 dish and chill until set.

Topping:

8 oz. Cream cheese
½ pint sour cream
½ cup sugars1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
milk (if needed)

Mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, nuts, and vanilla. If too stiff to spread, add a tablespoon or so of milk. Spread over set gelatin; return to refrigerator to chill.
